1, Raw material metering:
Aggregates (e.g. sand, stone) are unloaded into the aggregate metering hopper through the batching station for metering to ensure the accurate proportion of aggregates in each batch of concrete.
Cement and fly ash and other powders are transported to their respective measuring hoppers for measurement through screw conveyors.
Water and additives are pumped by water pumps and additives pumps to their respective measuring hoppers for measurement.
2, Raw material conveying:
The measured aggregate is mechanically conveyed to the hopper to be fed at the upper part of the concrete mixer through flat and inclined belts.
Powder is fed directly into the mixer through screw conveyor or pneumatic conveying system.
Water and admixtures are directly conveyed to the concrete mixer through a piping system.
3, Mixing:
The mixer starts working when all the raw materials enter the concrete mixer in a predetermined proportion and sequence.
The high-speed rotating blades inside the concrete mixer mix the raw materials with water for thorough mixing and crushing to ensure uniform concrete.
The mixing time is usually determined according to the requirements of the concrete's mixing ratio and slump, usually between a few tens of seconds and a few minutes.
4, Unloading:
After the mixing is completed, the unloading door of the concrete mixer is opened and the concrete is unloaded into the mixer transportation truck through the unloading hopper.
The mixing transportation truck carries the concrete to the site for subsequent pouring work.
