To improve the pumping efficiency, correct operation is needed. The pumping process should pay attention to:
1. The concrete pump must be continuously operated. The concrete batching plant supply capacity is at least about 20% higher than the concrete pump's working capacity.
2. The arrangement of the conveying pipe should be as short as possible, as straight as possible, and the turning should be less and slower. Pipe joints are strict and less tapered tubes are used to reduce drag and pressure loss. If the pipe is inclined downwards, it should be prevented from mixing in air and causing blockage.
3. Before pumping, first lubricate the inner wall of the conveying pipe with a proper amount of cement slurry or cement mortar with the same composition as the concrete. In the concrete pumping process, if long pipe is required, it is necessary to first wet the pipe section with cement slurry or cement mortar. The length of each pipe section should be 3m. If the length of the pipe is less than 3m and the pipe section is in good condition, it can be no need to wet beforehand.
4. When starting pumping, the operator should make the mobile concrete pump run at low speed, and pay attention to observe the pressure of the pump and the working conditions of each part. After the pump is working normally and smoothly, increase the running speed, increase the stroke, and transfer to normal pumping. When pumping normally, the piston should be operated as large as possible.
5. After the pumping starts, the concrete supply capacity should ensure that the concrete pump works continuously and try to avoid stopping in the middle.
6. During the pumping process, the mobile concrete pump should be kept full of concrete in the hopper to avoid inhaling air and forming a blockage.
