According to the process layout form the batching plant concrete can be divided into single-stage and double-stage. In general, the production efficiency of the two-stage type is relatively low, the production speed is slow, and the single-stage type is relatively high in production efficiency and fast in production speed. The materials such as single-stage gravel, sand and cement are lifted to the storage hopper at the upper level of the batching plant at one time, and then the ingredients are weighed until they are stirred into finished materials, and the vertical production process system is formed by the falling weight of the materials. It has the characteristics of high production efficiency, low power consumption, high mechanization and automation, compact layout and small floor space. However, its equipment is more complicated and its capital investment is large. Therefore, it is often used in large permanent batching plants.

The materials such as double-stage gravel, sand and cement are lifted twice, and the material is lifted to the storage hopper at a time. After the ingredients are weighed, the material is lifted and discharged into the mixer. It has the advantages of simple equipment, low investment, fast construction, etc., but its mechanization and automation are low, the floor space is large, and the power consumption is high. Therefore, it is mainly used for small and medium size concrete batching plants.

According to the operation form the batching plant concrete can be divided into periodic and continuous types. The difference between the two is that the cycle type is that the feed system and the discharge system are cyclically produced in a certain cycle, while the continuous type continuously feeds and discharges.
